Our Territory: Enjoy Tuscany!
Our territory has always been loved for its atmosphere of rare beauty and in this context our Agri Resort La Forra is a real “oasis of peace”, it is beautifully suggestive, and a source of tranquility and relaxation.
Nestling far away from the rattling traffic, our farmhouse is situated along the Chianti Roads, on a hilltop of the Arno Valley, away from mass tourism and at the same time close to the most important Tuscan cities and historical sites; it is an excellent starting point for excursions.
The picturesque countryside, the enchanting panorama, and the endless possibilities on offer at the farmhouse and in the surroundings, will leave you with great memories packed with emotions, family peace, tradition, nature and relaxing moments.
Tuscany is world famous for its wonderful landscape, its authentic and genuine food, its excellent wine and olive oil, and its internationally renowned cities of art and culture.
Castles, ancient walled towns, rural villages and historic towns were built using simple and warm materials such as limestone, pietra serena, and terra cotta. The combination of these natural colors create a wonderful picture of unique harmony with nature.
The landscape is characterized by a continuous alternation of valleys and gentle hills, full of vineyards and olive groves, fields of sunflowers as well as areas covered with woods of oaks, cypresses and pines.
Tuscany has to be experienced and explored first-hand. Its variety is something you have to see with your own eyes and it is an important part of the world's heritage. Since 1982, UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) added 7 places in Tuscany to the list of the World Heritage Sites Program: Florence – Pisa – San Gimignano – Siena – Pienza – Val d’Orcia and The Medici Villas and Gardens (added in 2013).
Each of these beautiful landmarks in Tuscany, that officially belong to all of humankind, can be visited in a day trip starting from La Forra.
